CNC Operator / CAD-CAM Programmer

We are looking for an experienced CNC Operator with strong CAD/CAM skills to support production in a woodworking environment. This role requires equal parts CNC machine operation and CAD/CAM programming. You will be responsible for creating and editing CAD/CAM files, setting up machines, and running parts accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and manage CAD/CAM files for production
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC routers
  • Select tooling, feeds, and speeds for wood materials
  • Monitor jobs to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot programming or machine issues
  • Maintain CNC equipment and a clean workspace

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of CNC experience in a woodworking environment
  • Strong CAD/CAM software experience (Fusion 360, VCarve, Cabinet Vision, AlphaCAM, or similar)
  • Comfortable working independently from CAD file to finished part
  • Experience with hardwoods, plywood, MDF, and sheet goods
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Must know how to read and interpret blueprints

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift, move, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds on a regular basis
  • Ability to twist, turn, crouch, stoop, and squat repeatedly throughout the workday

Work Hours

Full-time, hourly position; standard business hours of 6:30am until 3:30pm Monday – Friday.  Overtime available on an as needed basis.
