John has over 40 years in the architectural millwork industry, beginning his career as a finish carpenter and then moving into stair installation.   For over 35 years, he has specialized in stair layout and design and is currently recognized as one of the most experienced and knowledgeable stair professionals in the country.  Contractors and stair professionals reach out to John regularly as a consultant when they face difficult or challenging projects.

Additionally, John has an excellent understanding of paneling, veneers and both interior and exterior custom doors.  He is the team’s internal resource when evaluating construction of oversized doors, embrasure doors, hidden doors, and other complex architectural millwork configurations.

John is married with four grown children (two of his own and two stepchildren).  He has a very close group of family and friends with whom he enjoys going out, playing cards, fishing, going to events and vacationing together.
