Joel attended UW-Milwaukee where he studied Architecture. He is embarking on his 34th year with Burmeister Woodwork in architectural millwork design and has completed hundreds of projects in the Greater Milwaukee area, Door County, Upper Michigan, Florida, Oregon and Washington DC.

Many of Joel’s projects have been featured in Midwest Living Magazine, Milwaukee Magazine and other periodicals.

When he is not poring over blueprints and working with our great clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two lovely daughters. In his free time, he loves to golf and follow all things Wisconsin sports-related, with a particular love for the Packers. He is active with several local charities including the Selah Freedom House in Kenosha.
